MAID FOR PETS was established to care for pets in their own home environment while their owners are away. Aware that pets are less stressed when left in their own familiar surroundings and that in the present climate property is at risk when left empty for any length of time, the idea to cater for both of these needs emerged.

We appreciate that it is a big step to let a virtual stranger into your home in your absence. Many people who consider using a home sitter for the first time are naturally very sceptical and it is with this in mind that our sitters are selected.

All of our sitters are mature responsible animal lovers aged between 35 to 70. Their backgrounds are investigated and three professional referees have to be supplied. After completing a comprehensive application form and having their references checked they are interviewed in depth before a decision is made to offer them a position.

The sitter will look after your animals & the security of your home, they will also water the plants, take messages and keep the house clean and tidy for your return. They are there from the time you leave until you return, with a very limited time out for themselves.

Charges

Live-in - £37.00 per day (or part day) incl. agency fee
(Christmas Day, New Year & Easter Day incurs double time)

Sitter's interview fee - £12.00 (local)

30p per mile from sitter's home to client's. (mileage checked with AA.)

An additional charge may be made for a large number of animals (e.g. more than 3 dogs, horses, poultry etc).

Sitter provide their own food.

Deposit
The Agency fee included in the above & represents 25% of the total sit fee. It is payable when returning the booking form.
